may exceptionally be considered);
-
be able to contribute to one of the areas of activity described in the
scientific
programme of the network;

- be a national of a Member State of the European Community
(Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England,
Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands,
Portugal, Spain, Sweden)
- be a national of an Associated State
(Bulgaria, Cyprus,
Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Lichtenstein,

-
NOT be a national of the country in which he/she wishes to hold the position.

Generally, pre-doctoral positions at the different teams are expected to
cover a period of 1 or 2 months, and are explicitly intended to allow a
doctoral student to learn material necessary to the completion of his/her
thesis. Postdoctoral positions are intended to cover a period of one year,
although shorter positions will be possible if the candidate desires;
positions may be jointly organized by two to three teams, with
a few months spent in each team.
