Egyptian names

Egyptian names commonly contain two parts: the name of a god and an adjective or qualifying term relating to the god: "peace", "child of", "beneficient" etc.

Note that the pronunciation of the short vowels is uncertain (mos-mes; Amon-Amen...) since Egyptian writing doesn't use them.
