The authors give an integral representation characterizing the Andreotti-Mayer locus describing abelian varieties with a singular theta divisor. The given integral representation is provided by constructing an explicit Green's current for a suitable vector bundle on the universal theta divisor. Comments : Published in Abh. Math. Sem.
