The French-German research project "Derivation and analysis of effective suspension models" is
concerned with the mathematical analysis of particle-laden flows. Within the Analysis of PDEs,
this project is situated at the interplay of fluid dynamics, homogenization and kinetic theory.

News and events related to the project
Our project member Richard Höfer has won the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize by the DFG.
It is a very prestigious prize for young researchers and offers some recognition for Richard's research
which has a large intersection with the project.
