Mathematical outreach

• The DRP network, an NSF-funded project to support undergraduate-graduate independent study/reading programs in mathematics. I am a co-founder of this program. Learn more about our work, resources for DRP's, and upcoming opportunities on the webpage.
• Communicating Mathematics. A series of workshops and events surrounding communication of mathematics, most recently at the 2026 Joint Math Meetings in DC.

• I have been a mentor/co-organizer at past iterations of the Topology Students Workshop.

• I mentored students in the University of Chicago REU in 2009 and 2011. You can find information and student papers here.
• I was also involved for many years wtih the U Chicago Directed Reading Program, as well as faculty mentor for the DRP at Berkeley and Brown.
